During this interactive training, participants will have the opportunity to practice various informatics techniques using their own data or sample data. They will learn to extract, validate and analyze data from the electronic health record and data warehouse to support patient care and public health. Through a series of interactive activities, participants will develop data flow diagrams, conduct quality assurance, and produce data reports. Learning Objectives: - To understand the process of data quality assurance - To demonstrate an exercise in data normalization using data structure, terminology and standards - To learn about how to work with clinical and IT stakeholders to create dashboards for improving care
